This week, Down Town Los Angeles’ Regal Cinemas will be the home for HOLA MEXICO FILM FESTIVAL, May 16th through the 21st. HOLA MEXICO extends their invitation for you to learn more about the culture, the entertainment and the Mexican Flavor. More than 40 directors, actors and producers, who will be presenting their films and answering questions. This year is HMFF will be celebrating its fifth year anniversary which is why they will be including not just film, but also a great array of Mexican Chefs, an excellent selection of tequilas, Mexales and Mexican beer to the tunes of musical bands. The opening Night Fiesta will be May 15 in the Los Angeles Theater. This celebration will present the inagural gala of director Felipe Cazals’ film: CIUDADANO BUELNA. The closing of the festival will be May 22nd at La Plaza de Cultura y Ares with a special performance by CELSO PINA, a notable accordianist. HOLA MEXICO’s objective is to bring the best of Mexican Fillm, Food and Music. In the course of he week, and with an annual attendence of approximately 25,000 people, this event will be celebrated annually in May in Los Angeles, CA.
