A chicken with mushrooms recipe from Spain – a fast and super easy recipe!

In an effort to learn more Spanish dishes, I found a real yummy recipe. This is commonly accompanied with fried potato (I have noticed that potato is commonly used to accompany many Spanish dishes, just like rice would). Lucky me, two of my fave ingredients, mushroom and potatoes!

  • Fresh parsley, washed and chopped
  • 1 white onion washed and sliced
  • 3 Chicken Breast washed and cut into cubes
  • French fries (or whatever you like as a side)
  • Fresh Mushrooms 1 pack washed and sliced
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Zafron – 1 tbs
  • 250 ml of Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)

1. Saute sliced onion with a little bit of Olive Oil

3. In a different saucepan, fry the cubed chicken in just a tad of olive oil, zafron and salt and pepper to taste.

DSC014474. Add the fried chicken to the saute onion and mushrooms and mix well.

5. Add the Heavy Whipping cream and cook in low fire until ready.

6. Sprinkle fresh parsley and add your side dish!
